Probability

Today our middle school reading buddies joined us with a special Valentine's Day activity. Students worked together to cut out the letters in the word Valentine, shake them in a cup, and draw out individual letters, tracking them on a sheet. Students worked to see which letters came out most often and considered why. As a follow-up activity, students tried to make as many words as they could using those same letters.
