Read to self
This week we learned that there are 3 ways to read a book. You can read the pictures, read the words, and retell the story. We're currently working on reading the whole time, staying in one spot, and building our stamina during read to self time.
WordSearch of Student Names
Students got the opportunity to complete a word search made up of their classmates names. They enjoyed finding each others names and reading them on the page!
10 Apples Up On Top
We read aloud a book called "Ten Apples Up On Top" and completed the activity below to help review number recognition, number orders, and patterns. Students were each pretending to "balance" the apples on their heads in their pictures. Now the final products are hanging on the inside of our classroom door. (*Not all students have completed this project.)
