First Week of School PICTURES!

Now that I have gotten most of the technology releases back, I am able to post the majority of our first day pictures and first week activities! It is always fun to look back at these at the end of the year and see how much all the children have changed!

First Day Photos

Brain Breaks (Wiggle/Motor Breaks)

These are a way to get students moving throughout the school day, to break up their time sitting still, and to keep their brains focused during learning times.

Classroom Scavenger Hunt

Students working together to read the scavenger hunt questions and find the answers. Once they finished, they compared answers and re-counted in the classroom if necessary.

First Week of School Writing

Together we brainstormed a list of all the things we did during our first week of school. Then, students chose one or more of the topics on the list to write about. 

Math About Me

Students completed a math activity about themselves that we now have on display in the hallway.
