After we fix and fancy our favorite stories, we find a way to celebrate all of our hard work. This time, we had a 'Writing Museum'. We set our stories out around the room and spent time looking over each others' work. When we found a piece that we were particularly impressed with, we marked it with a small compliment using colorful drawing of a star, smile, heart, etc.

Narrative Writing - End of Bend 2
This week we finished up Bend 2 in our writing unit. This unit has 4 bends. At the end of each bend, we typically choose one piece we've written to revise and edit, then fancy up with color. You can see students working to fancy up their chosen pieces below.
