Middle School Reading Buddies

Our class and Ms. Menard's class had our first day with our middle school reading buddies today. We will be welcoming a group of 40 middle school students to our classrooms 1-2 times per month to read and do projects together. Each student is matched up with one middle school student who will become their buddy for the year. This is a great opportunity for both the middle school students and our first graders! The students really enjoyed our first day, and we look forward to the rest of the year!
