Science Challenge - Tall Towers

This week's science challenge was to build the tallest tower possible using an assortment of various materials. Students were arranged into small groups and each group got the same materials. The finished towers needed to be as tall as possible AND needed to be able to hold up a Pom Pom. As always, we made sure to officially measure to determine the winter, and then debrief to learn what worked and didn't work for groups. The common trait of a successful tower: teamwork!
