Classroom Technology

This week was our first time using our student laptops in our classroom. Students have learned how to appropriately remove their laptops from their case, carry laptops to their seats, turn on the laptop, log in independently, and get themselves to Symbaloo, our class website. From there, students can navigate to whichever site they are expected to work on at the time. This week we have only been working with RazKids, which is a program that allows students to listen to or read leveled books on their own. In the coming weeks students will learn how to use a number of other sites to enhance their learning.
